Client requirements: adopt room‑temperature process to concentrate silica sol and remove small‑molecule impurities, improve material recovery rate and reduce energy & labor cost.

Project target: concentrate silica sol feed at ambient temperature, remove inorganic salt impurities, guarantee colloidal stability and improve economic benefit.

‑ Material: Silica sol feed liquid

‑ Capacity: 50 tons per day

‑ Inlet silica sol concentration: 8‑10%

‑ Main impurity: small‑molecule inorganic salt

‑ Process requirement: ambient‑temperature operation to protect colloid performance

Custom BluewavBio dedicated silica sol membrane concentration system, including feed pre‑treatment unit, main membrane unit, PLC automatic control system, CIP on‑line cleaning unit, material tanks and complete pipelines & instruments.

Process flow:

Feed tank → Pre‑treatment filtration → Membrane concentration host → Concentrated silica sol discharge. Water and small‑molecule salt form permeate for reuse. CIP on‑line cleaning regenerates membrane elements and extends service life.
