Crude protein extract usually contains multiple undesirable impurities including tannins, pectin, pigments, particulate contaminants and microorganisms. These impurities negatively affect the stability, appearance and quality of final protein products.

This project adopts integrated membrane separation technology combining membrane filtration and membrane concentration for protein extract processing. The raw protein feed firstly goes through membrane filtration to remove unwanted impurities. After purification, the clarified protein solution is concentrated via membrane concentration to reach target concentration standards. The concentrated protein liquid is then sent to spray drying to produce powdered protein.

Process Flow

Crude Protein Extract → Membrane Filtration Purification → Membrane Concentration → Spray Drying → Powdered Protein
