Project Background
Consumers worldwide are increasingly favouring safe, natural and plant-derived cosmetic ingredients. Conventional plant extraction processes rely on high-temperature evaporation and traditional filtration, which easily cause degradation of heat-sensitive active substances. Disadvantages include turbid liquid, high energy consumption, unstable product quality and high operating costs.
To solve these pain points, we designed an integrated production line adopting the combined process: Extraction → Centrifugation → Membrane Clarification Filtration → Low-temperature Membrane Concentration. The membrane separation technology optimises the traditional extraction workflow for natural cosmetic raw materials.
Process Flow

Centrifugal Pre-treatment
Remove coarse residues and suspended solids to reduce membrane fouling and extend membrane service life.
Membrane Clarification Filtration
Intercept plant fibres, colloids and macromolecular impurities while retaining target active components. No filter aids required. The permeate achieves high clarity and avoids later precipitation.
Low-temperature Membrane Concentration
Operate under ambient/low temperature without thermal evaporation. Effectively protect heat-sensitive ingredients such as flavonoids, polyphenols and plant polysaccharides, maintaining natural activity of cosmetic raw materials.
